The Group of Mathematical Physics of the University of Lisbon (GFM) announces the creation of a program of postdoctoral fellowships in Mathematical Physics.
These fellowships will be tenable from October 1998 to July 2000 at GFM, Lisbon, for periods of 6 months or one year, not renewable. The fellows, EU citizens or not, less than 40 years old, will be chosen based on their scientific achievement as well as their potentialities of interaction with our research group.
We are especially interested in applications regarding the following mathematical areas of research:
Stochastic calculus and infinite dimensional
analysis
Probabilistic methods in quantum physics and Feynman path integrals
Dynamical system theory and nonperturbative quantum field theory
The mathematicians and mathematical physicists interested should state their areas of interest from the above and send their CV and names and addresses of 2 referees to Prof. Ana Bela Cruzeiro at the address below.
