The spincube model of quantum gravity is a categorical generalization of spinfoam models developed in the framework of Loop Quantum Gravity. The main advantage of the spincube model over previous ones is the ability to couple matter fields to gravity. This opens up the possibility to discuss the cosmological constant problem within the model. It turns out that the cosmological constant problem has a natural resolution, and we will present the main steps in the construction of the solution.
