Postdoctoral position 2015: Incentivo/MAT/UI0208/2014
The Group of Mathematical Physics of the University of Lisbon invites applications for a research post-doctoral position in Mathematics within the scope of the following Portuguese Science Foundation program Incentivo/MAT/UI0208/2014 funded by national funds through FCT/MEC (PIDDAC). The position is for 6 months, starting July 1, 2015. No possibility of extension. There are no teaching duties associated with the position. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Mathematics (or equivalent) obtained preferably after January 1, 2012.
Post Doctoral Position
The Group of Mathematical Physics of the

Universidade de Lisboa Portugal, invites applications for a research
post-doctoral position in Mathematics within the scope of the following
Portuguese Science Foundation program Incentivo/MAT/UI0208/2014 funded
by national funds through FCT/MEC (PIDDAC).
The position is for 6 months, starting July 1, 2015. No possibility of extension. There are no teaching duties associated with the position. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Mathematics (or equivalent) obtained preferably after January 1, 2012, and must show very strong research promise in one of the following relevant areas:
Stochastic Analysis, Quantum Geometry and Quantum Gravity, Feynman Integrals, Euclidean Quantum Mechanics, Geometric Methods in Probability, Dynamical Systems, Integrable Systems, Spectral Theory, Topological Quantum Field Theory and Industrial Problems.The fellowship amounts to € 1.495/month, according to table of values for the scholarships awarded directly by the FCT, IP. (http://www.fct.pt/apoios/bolsas/valores). The grant holder will have a personal accident insurance.
Candidates will be assessed by the quality of their CV (80%) and Skype interview (20%).
