We prove an affine isoperimetric upper bound for the eigenvalue of the Monge-Ampere operator with Dirichlet boundary conditions and an upper bound, in terms of isoperimetric deficit, for the first eigenvalue of the p-Laplace operator with Dirichlet boundary conditions in convex domains.
