"Probabilistic approach to finite and infinite dimensional dynamical systems" (PTDC/MAT/104173/2008)
Positions are for one year, starting before the end of 2010, with the possibility of extension for a second year upon mutual agreement and budget approval. The salary is 17940 euros/year (tax free), and there are no teaching duties associated with the position.
Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Mathematics (or equivalent) obtained preferably after January 1, 2007, and must show very strong research promise in (at least) one of the relevant areas for the project:
- Stochastic Analysis, Infinite dimensional Geometry
- Integrable Systems, related areas of Algebraic or Poisson Geometry and Mechanics
