The Group of Mathematical Physics of the University of Lisbon, Portugal, invites applications for a research post-doctoral position in Mathematics within the scope of the Portuguese Science Foundation project "PDE and probability in Mathematical Physics” (PTDC/MAT/120354/2010). Position is for one year, subject to budget approval, starting before the end of 2012.
Post Doctoral Position
The Group of Mathematical Physics of the University of Lisbon, Portugal, invites applications for a research post-doctoral positions in Mathematics within the scope of the following Portuguese Science Foundation project:
“PDE and probability in Mathematical
Physics”
(PTDC/MAT/120354/2010)
Position is for one year, subject to budget approval, starting
before the end of 2012. The salary is 17,940 euros/yr (tax free), and
there are, in principle, no teaching duties associated with the
position. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Mathematics (or equivalent)
obtained preferably after January 1, 2009 and must show very strong
research promise in one of the relevant areas for the project:
- Probability and Stochastic Analysis;
- Probabilistic methods in PDE;
- Mathematical Physics.
