Analysis of fractional differential equations

We study equations in which a fractional derivative, i.e. a derivative of arbitrary real order, appears somehow. We are particularly interested in studying the qualitative properties of the solutions to such equations. Some numerical methods are also being developed. Our main motivation comes from the fact that fractional operators have "memory" and are, consequently, widely used to model physical phenomena where memory is present.
