by Atle Hahn (GFMUL, Universidade de Lisboa, Portugal)

The laws of Physics are invariant under "time reversal". So why can we only "remember" things that happened in the past but not things that will happen in the future?

Note:
The lecture is an introduction to Statistical Mechanics. It is the first of a series of lectures on Mathematical Physics directed to a broad audience. Future lectures will include, among other things, an introduction to Classical Electrodynamics and to General Relativity.
