Route to sychronisation in chaotic coupled map lattices

Rigorous coupling dependent bounds on the set of symbolic sequences (and hence on the topological entropy) are obtained in a chaotic coupled map lattice with two sites. These bounds provide numbers to the intuitive property that, from a regime of independent chaotic elements, the system becomes more and more synchronized when the coupling parameter increases.
