First I will provide a brief introduction to Poincare and Log-Sobolev type inequalities and their consequences. Then I will present few recent results in the context of analysis on (nilpotent) Lie groups and in noncommutative L_p spaces associated to a state.
This will be about recent works with Cyril Roberto, Esther Bou Dagher, Yifu Wang, Serena Federico and Marianna Chatzakou, Fabio Cipriani.
